What are you breathing in your home?
Let our professionaly trained technicians help you solve your indoor air quality problems!
It has been scientifically proven that duct cleaning can help reduce allergy symptoms and other breathing problems by improving the air you breathe. Furthermore, regular duct cleaning extends the life of the system and creates a more efficient sytem that is less likely to break down.
The heating and air conditioning system is comprised of two components, the air handling unit/furnance and the ductwork. The air handling unit is the mechanical section containing the heater or air cooling unit fan which disburses the air throughout the duct system. The ducts are located throughout the home and can run behind walls, under floors, in the attic, or in the crawl space. The air handling unit is a primary dirt collection site and should be thorougly cleaned. Cleaning the ductwork is not effective if the air handler is not cleaned also.
During construction, debris and building scraps often end up in the ducts through the registers. Unless removed, fine particles from the debris, which can be respiratory irritants, can circulate within the ducts and enter a room through the registers. In the final stage of building a home, prior to moving in, the ducts should be cleaned and vacuumed to remove any particles that may have entered during construction.
We'll make sure that your home and its furnishings are treated with respect and are not damaged during any part of our service. Plus, we'll leave your home cleaner than before we arrived.
We provide a premium duct cleaning that covers ALL the duct work in your home. We will need access to ALL vents, because we remove them one one at a time to inspect and clean.
This isn't a small job, It will take 3 to 5 hours to complete. Once the job is done, you shouldn't need your ducts cleaned again for about 3 to 7 years. Remember, construction dust is the worst, and if your home is under three years old, and you have never had the ducts cleaned, there will be a lot of dry-wall dust in the system that can take years of life off your furnace.
We employ a source removal of cleaning your ducts. A high power vacuum with a HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Arrestance) filter is attached to the plenum. When the vacuum is turned on, it draws air through the system creating negative pressure. Once the negative pressure is established the technicians will begin to clean the ducts using the Viper Clean Sweep System which consists of rotating brushes, air whips, and balls that dislodge dust and debris in the duct work which is then forced to the end of the system into the filter, not your home. We also use the air washing technique that incorporates compressed air and cleaning components that push the debris to the vacuum. Our cleaning procedures are in compliance with the industry standard as set forth by the NADCA (National Air Duct Cleaners Association).
