This is the bottom of the block chimney venting a free standing wood burning stove. It has a stucco finish. Note the use of J channel to tie the chimney into the siding of the home to prevent leaks.

Construction continues on the block chimney - almost to the NFPA 211 code required height. (Please note the cap was placed on the top to protect it for the evening only and is not yet permanently installed.) |

This is the top of the completed block chimney. The entire surface has been stuccoed and treated with a commercial grade water repellent. The top was finished with a stainless steel cover and cap. The cap ties in directly to the stainless steel lining system. |
